Additional Points of Analysis Euro - The Euro rose against all other major currencies for the second consecutive week - Euro's lowest rise was against the British Pound (same as last week) - The Euro finished the week with 4 consecutive daily rises against the: USD, GBP, CAD, AUD and CNY - The Euro is up for the month/year against all but one currency (in Jan 2010 it was down against all currencies) - It’s biggest rise continued for the second week to be against the Australian Dollar - Its only monthly/yearly drop for the month/year is still versus the UK Pound US Dollar - The US Dollar fell against the majority of the other major currencies (just as it did last week) - Its biggest fall was versus the Euro (same as last week) - The US Dollar finished the week with 4 consecutive daily falls against the Euro - US Dollar's performance remained mixed for the second week from a monthly/yearly perspective (in Jan 2010 the US Dollar was mostly up against the other major currencies) - Its highest increase continued for the second week to be against the Australian Dollar - US Dollar's greatest fall remained for the second week against the UK Pound UK Pound - The British Pound rose against all other major currencies with the exception of one (just as it did last week) - Sterling finished the week with 4 consecutive falls against the EUR and 3 consecutive rises against the AUD - The UK Pound continues to be profitable against all other majors (in Jan 2010 it was profitable against most) - Its biggest increase is for the second consecutive week against the Australian Dollar - Its smallest increase remained for a second week versus the Euro
